NO doesn't bother me....but I use a different brand product than what's listed...and I would hate for some unsuspecting person to buy what could be an inferior product based on my photos, only to have their doors not function properly or be unsafe.

Dude i love how people say lambo kits are lambo kits.....you wanna trust your life in a side impact to poorly made inferior product???? Some companies such as L.S.D. actually test their kits in both side impact and roll over crash tests. I know I paid a lot (mind you got them 2 years ago) but unlike the knock-off's my doors don't feel like they're gonna open if I hit a bump on the hiway.

I honestly think that's not much of a big deal since he's just selling lambo door kit and just using your picture to give buyers/shoppers an image of what they'll look like installed. I am almost certain he doesn't even know it's your car, he prob just linked any lambo kit he saw just like the orange one.

That's pretty shady. Dude is selling a product and using someone elses picture without asking. That's called copyright infringement. The question is, what do you do about it?

My Z is/was on multiple ebay auctions by people I don't know. One of them even has it on their auction layout for their company with their logo/etc. So far I haven't really done anything. Maybe if I had a watermark and they edited it out or something I'd get annoyed, but they haven't.
Also, it doesn't help if your car comes up high on a google image search (mine comes up on page 1 and 2 on "350z turbo" and "350z"). Needless to say, that particular image gets swiped quite regularly.
I kinda take it as a compliment that people see your car and associate it with a certain style or mod. After all, it's not really hurting you in any way.

If YOU took the picture, then you have full copyright protection on the image. If it bothers you, contact the seller on ebay and explain how he is breaking the law and see if he will kindly remove the image...if he doesn't and you would like to pursue it futher, contact local authorities and see what they can do for you.

I checked out the link. This guy doesn't seem to be a big time seller. Judging by the description it looks like he is just trying to get rid of something he never used and not claiming that it is the same item pictured in the listing. I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone on these forums. Its not that much of a big deal unless someone is using your pics to sell many inferior products and stating that these pics are of the actual item he is selling. Just for fun I would send him an e-mail asking him for a cut of the profit as royalties for using pics of your car, lol.

They are Vertical Door Inc. I help with teh install and have done a few myself since then....really easy after the first time....takes lots of patience to get them to line up properly tho. If I were to do it all over again I would get the LSD doors. They have a special hinge that doesn't allow the door to open up until it is fully horizontal, and that saves your door panels from getting wrecked.
