LOOKS LIKE MY NEXT MOD WILL BE A ROLL CAGE!

Check out this other thread of crashed Zs. There are several pics to date I have seen with the roof caved in.

I will be adding a full roll cage before June.

Boys & girls if you can't drive then you might want to leave your VDC on at all times.

A couple strokes of a reciprocating saw and we'll have our first roadster here early.

Is that a driveout tag laminated there in the license plate spot? Looks like it to me.

Not like I drive crazy or anything close to that, but these pics have got me super paranoid.... what if the car ever were to flip for some unforseen reason ... what good are all those optional sidebags when the roof caves in like this?!!?!!

Anyone know the story behind this crash? I'd like to know what could have caused the roof to cave in like that.

Just a couple of thoughts.

Looks like the wipers were running so I would assume rain the left back wheel looks like it took the brunt of the blow so I assume it was sliding when it struck and then flipped from the impact. I would have to assume speed and bad weather.

I don't think the roof's "caved in" that bad, considering a 3,000 lb. car landed on top of it. This is typical of what happens to a car in a violent accident.

Probably not rain - I see piles of white stuff (cotton candy?) in the 1st photo.

That SuperBlack was my car and I don't drive unusually fast but crap happens too. That was only the second car accident I have ever had and the first one was in 1992, and it was a minor accident. So I really don't consider that a bad record. I described the accident briefly here. https://my350z.com/forum/showthr...rd&pagenumber=1e
