Default We need to pay our convicts more...

It took 99 days exactly for me to get my personalized CA plates. I know the convicts only get like $0.15 an hour but over 3 months for plates? That's a bit much for stamping a piece of metal.

Anyone have a better experiences?

Oh, and here's me, I dig it:

Don't we pay enough with our taxes to keep them locked up with cable tv and cigarettes? Those guys are too busy making moon shine and fifi dolls working out, multitasking and networking in there. Nice plates.

I think we need a new deterrent for criminals....If you remember the Charleston Heston movie "Soylent Green"...they sent out big dump trucks to scoop people up to send to food processing center to make "food bisquits" out of them!

Think of all the poor and hungry people in the world who could benefit...I wouldn't mind my tax dollars being spent on that + Crime Rates would reduce dramatically!!!

Below is what the tasty lil green bisquits looked like...YUMMY!!!

I just figure since so many of them press plates all day...it shouldn't take over 3 months to get a new plate. That's a bit much.

I don't think they should be paid anything actually. Being able to do anything should be a privledge. My 2 cents.
