Happened to me (had a thread of it a couple weeks ago) ... was basically a drive by spitting. The dumb-a$$ thought he could get away with it. I knew what he drove and where he works (Local fridays). I confronted this glorified white homie the next chance I had (I guess he frequents the same bar -- I happen to know the owner). I basically made him look like an a$$ and got him kicked out of the bar. I also have a lot of friends in the restaurant industry that know him. They've all said their beef to him along the lines of "you are the scum of the earth".

So basically I've gotten back at this douche without harming him, which I easily could have done. He also knows at any time I can go to his manager and ask if all their employees spit on random cars.

 

I'd spit in his girlfriend's face....no, not with my mouth

 

Never once.

 

I would also add a few no-nos ... don't take you Z to the mall unless it's a nice upscale mall. And definitely don't take your Z to a concert, sporting event, or club. In a perfect world you wouldn't have to be cautious but hey there's a lot of douche bags out there ...

 

Sorry to hear about these negative aspects of owning a nice ride! People can be such jerks at times! For some reason the Z in general draws a lot of attention,can be good and bad. We all enjoy people admiring our rides, but I always feel a little apprehensive when parking my car and walking off. It's weird but sometimes I wish it wouldn't draw the attention it does. I guess it doesn't help with the MODS we all keep adding also. my 2 cents.

 

it's definitely the mods that draw good and negative attention ... although I'm at the point where any attention is negative attention. At the same I won't let it affect my driving habits. I grew up driving dull and "who gives a **** cars". When I walked by nice cars, not once did it go through my head "I feel the need to spit on this car" ... the people that do this need to have their ***** cut off so they cannot contaminate the rest of the world.

 

i've caught a guy pooring out the rest of his beer on the top of my car and saying "spoiled *****" and then kicked my side skirt.... when the fact is, i pay for my car with my own money from my own job, anyways, i hurt him pretty bad and thats the only incedent i've had thus far.. i cant stand when *******s think just because i drive a nice car my mommy and daddy bought it for me, and then lazy asses with no job/money like him come along and diverge their anger on property that isnt theirs :|

WOW never had my Z vandalized and I hope i never do. Some people just have no respect for others property I guess.

 

Well, whats retarded is my friend who I was talking to has a GTO, and I had parked right next to him. Two really clean cars, and mine gets spat on. It's rather, ridiculous to be honest. Makes me want to get my 318i finished up and drive it around so i can garage queen the Z for a lil bit.

 

I cant believe some of you dont understand why your z's might be vandalized or whatever, have you read some of the comments, rants, arguements etc.... by some of ***hole members members on this forum? Im suprised Z theft isnt up because of that. Sorry your ride got spit on though, could have been random!

 

Damn, I hear stories like this on here from mainly the midwest. I have no problems like that here in Seattle. They just steal your car on the west coast if you don't park in safe place.

 

Ive had my Z for a month and a half and i already have a dent on my rear left fender and a keyscratch on the right side going from the rear fender to where my door ends by the front fender luckly i have a ppw so you cant see either or unless you look for it

 

maybe where you live theyre not to "import" friendly

 

Im glad im not alone. I work in the mall. 3 occasions my baby has been spit on. and keyed once

 

damn...the ONLY thing thats landed on my car has been leaves and bird poop

 

My Z has been egged twice. Once it was even parked next to my moms Lexus (which was $50k!) and the *******s only egged my car. Not even bad, they only threw one egg! I guess thats what happens when you are pissed off at those who have more than you, but are also broke (or needed the rest of the eggs for a cake or something).

I also have two huge dents in my door, courtesy of some ******* i work with, apparently. Never found out who did it, but I figure, one dent could be an accident, two had to be on purpose.

 

I hate haters

 

I could get a beater car, but then that would be allowing the jerks in the population to hamper my life. My car doesn't make me superior...it's scum actions that make them inferior. So far no problems though. I don't think I'd like to live in Fort Collins or hang around the malls.

 

During the week days I drive my 12 year old beat up Civic. I have no problems getting dings and dents in that one.

But on the weekends or when my wife allows me to date I like to take the Z out for a spin or go cruising. I park far away from everyone else and if I do have to find a closer spot, I will wait till I find an extra wide spot.

 

I think people think these are 60-80K sportscars and they wonder how "you" could be driving it?

Damn, these are 30K sportscars. Probably cheaper than most 4 door sedans?
