Check out what somebody did to my Z....
any updates to this case? i think everyone is in agreement...this should be turned into a big time movie production. that would be so awesome! we can start when the car was first purchased...then we move into the mods and the kids growing up. then we move into drama at school. i understand that the 2 teens did not know each other or something but we can church that up like they do in movies. we can have them both upset with each other over a girl or something. instead of paint on the car, we will use C4 charges and have the car blown up. from there, the owner will go home and open up his secret room with nothing but guns. he walks out like keanu reeves did in the matrix with all the guns and open fire on the other teen and his crew. he can do some matrix moves and just obliterate everyone! we can have the other guy holding the dad hostage and have him torture him for the keys to another one of his cars. im sure we can add on to the story lol!!
I finished reading through most of the posts and all I can say is...wow. I cannot believe how stupid people can be. Please keep us posted on what happens. That kid is gonna get what he deserves sooner or later
I've interviewed plenty of parties to a crime, and some will quickly give up their buddies to clear up their involvement, others take a little more time, and interview technique, without coercion.
In the end, most people will tell on the main perp, as they can be charged as a party to the crime, just for being there, or for obstruction, for covering it up.
I enjoy the challenge of unraveling the suspect's crime. Even in small cases.
Anyone who does something like this in public and brags about it is just plain dumb. All you really need is one good witness, in which he confided in, to make a good case. I would have obtained a warrant for his car and home, looking for the paint, or any trace of it. I also would have checked his person for traces on his hands, fingernails, etc. His clothes would be another place to look. His shoes probably also left some sort of print on the ground, which could be matched. Having a few witnesses or several also spells lights out for him, and he would be better off making a plea. Of course, I don't know all of the information related to the case, but it seems to be a fairly easy case to make, and I am happy that the S.O. took it on, and did a good job for you.
