Default I need a pill

I dropped my car off Monday morning for the e-brakes that broke last weekend.

Week before that I got it back after they installed the new short block for oil consumption. They put a ding in my door on that trip. First and only mark on my 7 month old Z!!! Still as of right now that ding has not been fixed but appaenrltly was to be done today, so we'll see whenever the hell I get to pick it up. By the way they are fixing the ding and not the chip in the paint!!! WTF?!?!

After I got my car back with the new block, I deliberatly waited to install my new wheels and tires because of what they did to my door. The car seemed to be running fine with the new block, so last Friday I went ahead and put the new wheels. Less tha 100 miles later (next day) the ebrakes crapped out, so thats why it's in this week.

I'm affraid now that they are or have already f&^%ed up my new wheels and or dented/scratched my car again. I mounted those wheels myself to make sure that nobody scrtahced them, that the hub rings were put on too and even went as far as to wrap electrical tape around the splinned lug tool to make 100% sure they wouldn't get scratched by me or hopefully anybody else who might have to remove them.

I had a feeling that they were going to damage my car with the short block install and they did. I have the same feeling with my brand new MINT MINT MINT wheels and I'm afraid when I pick it up and find that they have been scratched, I will end up going to jail in a straight jacket because I will go totally balistic on everybody there at the dealership and I wion't hessitate to file a lawsuit, if they don't replace the wheels.

Sometimes I wish I would have just bought a white 4x4 so I wouldn't have to stress over these things.

Thing is I'm totally pi$$ed and stressed and I don't even know if anything is wrong with them, it's just thinking that they are is pi$$ing me off, with scenarios going thru my head

The car has been in their shop for the e-barke thing so far almost as long as it has been when they swapped out blocks.

They say that one of the parts they ordered didn't come in and it's comming from New York. I keep thinking that they have damged something and they are trying to fix whatever they screwed up and not telling me, hoping that I won't noticed what they fixed.

F%$K I'm paranoid.

Its okay man. **** happens. You can't help it if monkeys work on your car. You should find another dealership. I hear some hire gorillas. They're a bit smarter.
Fortunately, this may be a localized problem. I've had my transmission replaced as well as several oil changes at my stealership. I've never had a problem.

I remember reading your posts before you even had your Z. You were soooooo worried about getting a "problem Z"... then you managed to finally get one...didn't feel the need to break the car in(not that that had anything to do with anything)... now the car has problems and has become the big headache you oh-so-dreaded to begin with. Every week you post a new headache. I can't help but wonder how much of it you bring on yourself.

I can imagine you're getting tired of the headaches... even I'm getting tired of hearing about them.

Seriously bro... learn to enjoy the car. If you own a 350z and you aren't having a blast... sell the damn thing. No car is worth an ulcer.

Your memory must not be so hot bro because all I ever did during break in, was hit 6,500rpm one time, but only after the car had 1,000 miles on the clock, otherwise it was kept under 4,000rpm until 1200 miles.. So yes, if hitting 6,500rpm one time, 200 miles shy of the 1,200 break in mark is considerd thrashing my car, then guess I'm guilty.

Yep I do whine pi$$ and moan a lot about my car. I have also had plenty of fun with my car as well but I probably expect too much from a $30,000 car and the service Dept. sometimes. I could own any car in the world and when they go in the shop for repairs ther're all pieces of $hit to me at that moment because I can't spend what little free time I have, driving and enjoying it.

Working 72-80+ hours a week for the last 2.5 years, with only taking a one week vacation, which was 2 years ago, is enough to make a lot of people irritable easily I would guess.

I work my *** off, so I can buy myself nice stuff, so yes I was pi$$ed off when I got my baby back with a dent in it, sue me.

Anyway I got he car back and it all looks perfect. They even went as far to fill in the chip as well as fix the dent they did. At first I couldn't find where the chip and dent were and thought they repainted the whole door but they just did a great job of fixing it.

The ebrake works great now too.
