Default So i ran through a brick wall last night...

Well last night was interesting... I went to the movies with my twin bro and all was well. I got out at about 11:15 and the streets were empty so I was driving a lil over the speed limit... I am taking my usual way home and it offers me two routes: (1) Take the main streets to get home, (2) or take the sub streets through the residential area... I take option 2 and its ugly. I decide to take a left hand turn at above average speeds to beat this other car coming in the oposite direction. After I realize I took the turn too sharp and too fast, I tap the brake's to get a lil control and thats when bad decisions get the best of me. After the car fishes right and then left, I hold the brake's this time and turn the wheel. (I know this is a bad idea, and just leads to more uncontrolability *if thats even a word*) So BAM, I hit the curb at about 25 and launch through a brick wall... I jump out and kind of stand in a daze. (My bro and I are fine By the grace of God we have no injuries or anything ) I inspect the car and see if I might be able to back it up out of the guys backyard... This was going to be impossible because the front left tire was bent sideways underneath the front bumper/engine bay. not to mention the only tire that survived was the rear left. On top of that, my roof was partly caved in, both my windows were destroyed along with both of my side mirrors... Do you guys think its totaled? I didn't get a chance to see the engine... so i can't tell or not. If it is totaled, I am definately gonna get the same car, just don't know if I want the same color (had Le Mans... got kind of attached to the color now though, lol)

Well that was last night in a nut shell... Thanks for listenin.

If thats the case then your car is totaled with out a doubt, and if i where you i wouldn't want them to fix it back up.

Sucks! I did that once with my 300zx (minus, hitting anything), but I learned "not" to hit the brakes if the cars pitching out hard. It just makes the car pitch the other way faster, and you lose it...

Best of luck next time.

Yeah I hope they total it out, cuz my co-workers boyfriend works at a nissan dealership, and he says I can get an 06 for 28K out the door. And to add on the insurance bit, my insurance went down when I switched from a civic to the Z.
