this is odd.... I was driving home a few nights ago and noticed my turn blinkers worked but I got no "blink blink" sound.

It was like that for that night and part of the next day. It then began to work normally again.

anyone else have that happen?

 

I heard of that happening, dont think a cause was ever discovered... guess go on unless it happens again, you could bring it to the dealer, but number 1 on their list of things to do is replicate the problem, which they cant do.

 

From what I recall, the Z has a little speaker that makes the "blink" sound, rather than a mechanical relay like many other vehicles. This speaker is also responsible for the seatbelt chimes, door open sound, and all that crap. I remember others posting about missing sounds, and I think it turned out to be conflicts with other sounds or something like that. Maybe you had something similar?

Exact same thing happened to mine. It quit working for a couple of days and it's been fine for the last two months.

I have no idea what it was.

Same thing here as well - it only hapened once- for no particular reason - and then started working again about 1-2 hours later. Odd.

Add me to the list. Works most of the time, and sometimes it doesn't. No idea what it could be though.
