Default Show car, or Go car?

Just a quick poll to see what the tastes are on this forum. I'm not hating on either choice, just curious to see the feed back.

Are you more impressed by a Show car? Awesome paintjob, interior, big stereo, lot's of pretty bling.

Are you more impressed by a Go car? High end performance, track/race car.

I know most of us are most happy with a little show AND go, but I know one turns our crank more than the other.

Personally, I'm a Go Car kind of guy.

All go for me. All show is nice to but, with no go to back you up it's pointless in my opinion.

Even a show car has to have some go to show off the engine bay.

I am a go man..
I don't like it when you see cars with Lambo doors, $25,000 paint and $5,000 rims, and a stock engine...
I mean come on..
I do like some show though....Little things to set your car apart

I like some of both, but I still prefer the go over the show. That is what the Z is built for in the first place.

Sports cars are built to be raced, upgraded, modded, turboed!........

I would bet some 95 % of Z owners out there just drive around in a pretty car!!

i see older gentle man and women driving Z's to the mall, golf courses etc. Booooo!!!

what a waste of a high potential - preformance machine......

I'm all go, I can't justify show with such a good engine under the hood and RWD!

all go, show is pointless and vain, I got the most respect for total sleeper cars with zero cosmetic changes

i hate to see a car completly stock with a build engine too... there has to be some cosmetic in it...i am not sayigin it have to be over the top veilside v3 kit.. but i am for a show and go deal... a lot of the Go mods can be show oriented like... exhaust lets say injen... good on power gaisn.. add 100 bucks and you cna get them in TI tips for looks.... lowered you r ride? get coilovers, excellent on performance and you got the lowered looks part...then some lil by lil "looks" mods here and there, you make your car more unique and its fun too, so best thing is to do a mix and match... ovbiously all show sucks...

but its a lot mroe fun to do both IMO

a lot of peopel that say sleeps do not hav ea body kit that why they also say jsut sleepeed look, all they did was save up for a turbo.

I think it is important for a car to look nice, but to me, most show cars don't really look that good.

I prefer functional modifications. Most "show" modifications are not functional.

The "stock" engine is a V6 with nearly 300hp and does 0-60 around 5 seconds... you act as though you "need" to add something to the engine because it comes slow. lol!

most show car dont look that good? well if you are talkigna bout show car that are extremly modified that have 300" wings... super wide bodys or what ever, then yah i guess, i dont think he meant for the option "SHOW CAR" to be a strickly car show vehicle... but he was talking about adding a full lip kit... wheels, some audio... cf hood, somethign like it.... which can be easily adapted show case you go mods...

and as kdogg24 says... its not like you doing "looks" mods to a scion, or a civic, or a tiburon... 350z is already a true sports car and does pretty well stock... not saying you should be all looks, but i am saying if you plan on staying n/a for a while... a lot of the performance mods dont DO MUCH anyways untill you already espended quit a bit and tune yoru car n'a to maximize you injen cai, exhaust, headders, etc... other ise you can only gain 15 whp after spending 3000k in mods... were with 1000k you could ahve put some show mods and made your car unique looking...

tahts why a show and go is the best option, after you got a miles modifiying it this way, learning mroe aobut your car and all, then you go FI...
