Default Yeah, yeah... again - G35C versus 350Z

Okay... I realize this has been discussed 1000x's but the more specifications that I read on the G35C the more I begin to realize it's not going to be much different then the 350Z.

10hp can be made up easily
The weight is close
The G35C's interior is a lot nicer
Same tires
Same suspension

Kinda seems like the G35C is the 2+2 Z!

Why doesn't Nissan make a bigger division in these machines?!
I don't wanna be chased around by a G35C!!

EXCEPT: That for 26K The Z can be faster, handle better, and will still be cooler looking. I think the G34-C will be closer in price to the Track Model, in which case you are right, the differences may not be enough. I will make an assumption that the next model, a supercharged R / S Class will be NOT that much more expensive then the Track Model, and outperform it by a buttload.

Question

I have major dilema also on picking between both (although I have a pre-order already for the Z).

Here are the matters that feel are important:
- Z looks better than G35; this is opinion and not a fact, but opinion counts for decision.

- Z appears to have a lower seat than the G35, may be crucial for a 5'8" body.

- G35 may have a softer suspension; something that is important for me as I intend on driving it for touring purposes rather than drag racing, etc...but still firm enough to support the nature of the car.

- G35 has a much nicer warranty than Z

- 2 seater (always wanted) vs 4 seater (better for insurance)

- G35 has leather as standard while Z you have to move up to the touring model (currently pre-ordered enthusiast)

- Price may be near or the same for Enthusiast & the G35 Luxury model.

And some other non-significant reasons:
- G35 has sunroof option
- Z has TCS, G35 does not
- Z has rear wipper, G35 does not
- and surely others.

Yes, it is a personal thing no doubt.

1 - 5 important factor

Looks wise - Z wins 4
2 seats versus 4 seats - G wins 4
Power wise - Z wins (smaller margin) 5
Drivability - Z wins (smaller margin) 5
Cool factor - Z wins :P 5
Luxury factor - G wins 5
Interior - G wins 3
Warranty - G wins 3
Price - G and Z wins 4
Accessories - G and Z wins 4

Z = 27
G = 20
THE WINNER IS... my pre-order :P
