Question Best way to keep smell in car??

i am very **** with wanting my car to smell good, what is the best thing to do? I tried getting Cool Breeze scented oil insence and pouring it onto paper towels and leaving them under the seats...that works for about a week and a half per bottle. In my old explorer, i just poured the oil into the carpet under the seats and the smell stayed for years....But, i definately dont want to do that again...Any ideas?

there's no real answer to this question other than change your scent cans or hanging freshners out regularly. Keeping your windows closed will seal the scent in longer also.

Those little glade things that clip onto your vents work great for me and they last a long time. Kinda ghetto lookin but thats the sacrifice for a fresh smellin car. Or just keep cologne in it like homie said above. Give yourself and the car a spritz daily.

don't let people eat or drink in the car and apply leather conditioner on a regular basis. Just leave a stack of newspapers in the vehicle overnight to combat foul odor.

Don't fart in your car. It leaves an odor on your seats =P

Bathe regularily. At least once a week. And don't drive the car to the afternoon basketball game with the hood gang.

Sprinkle some baking soda on the carpet and upholstery and vacuum it up the next day...that should get rid of some odors

I had my seats removed and the carpet shampoo thing done which made it look brand new. New floormats and I keep a few of those scented things in the car.

Clean the carpet and it will be a lot better.

I believe he's looking for ways to make it smell good, not getting rid of odors. But that is good to know though. I have Arm & Hammer boxes in my fridge....

Talking

I put a fresh dryer sheet in each door vent. I put them through the backside when the door was open so they are easily removable and not visible. Every time air is blowing through the vent it's a nice fresh scent. I replace them like every other month. Cheap and effective!
