Default ordering a z

For those of you who placed an order for your z insted of getting one off of the lot how long did you have to wait until your car came in. Also, when did the payments start. did you have to start paying on the car when you order'd it or when you got it.

I placed my order about 5-6 weeks ago...still waiting. I just put $500 deposit down. Don't dream of actually paying/making payments until you HAVE a car in hand.

just ordered my car on Thursday. I should have my car within a few days (I'd say maybe a week) because they are going to do a dealer swap-out. I think they're going to try to work with a dealer in the Chicago area, if not closer. I wont make a payment for 3 months. I put down a $500 deposit.

Yep, I was talking to a Richmond dealer the other day. He confirmed that some orders won't be coming in till October.

Ordered Jan. 17th..got a call from my salesman a couple weeks ago, he said mine was scheduled for March build..that's as close as he could tell me.

Anybody know how long it takes to ship a car across the pond?
Said it sails to Seattle..by rail to Chicago..by truck to Lansing, Mi.

Most people have been allowing 3 weeks on the boat (probably less for the west coast) and then 1 week from port to dealer. Good luck!
