wow.. it seems z's are being targeted for egging.. mine got hit a few weeks ago.. one night it was outside.. took the truck and went out for some drinks.. no egg when i got home but when i woke up the next morning and walked outside.. i went ballistic.. high school kids did it.. i live in a small town and spread the word that i wanted to know who did it.. little bastards

 

sorry man, that sucks.

i used to valet cars and once we were working a party in a neigbhorhood. we generally would always keep the really nice cars close so we can keep an eye on them. it was near the end of the party, and a guy pulls up in a brand new '04 911 4s with a 6spd. sweet. although, we don't have any more spots close, so since it's almost over i take it just around the corner. about 30 minutes later i saw it while getting another car and same thing. egg all over the hood.

i found the guy and told him, and he took off to clean it. cool guy though, still tipped me 10 bucks.

 

Of course you're not going to have respect for the car if you're a typical high school punk or your butt doesn't have the motivation to go out and get your own Z.

 

Damn eggshells... it took me awhile to figure out what the circular paint chips were until someone here related a similar incident and confirmed it. >.<

 

Damn. Some guy threw a packet of salsa or tomato on my Z today as I was leaving the gas station.

 

my car got egged in daly city/san francisco and the splatter ruined my paint. not i live with egg chipped paint on my door. why fix it if someone would do it again and again, thats how i felt. but this egging that has just happened is terrible

Have you found the cause of it stalling yet? Just as a tip, the PCM will usually turn on the cooling fans as soon as the key is turned on when it cannot get a good reading from the coolant temp sensor. It does this to keep the engine from overheating. Usually, this will not cause the engine to stall, but it can cause the engine to not start or be hard to start.

What year is your car? A few times mine has not wanted to start just keep trying to turn over nothing happens. I thought finally my car fixed it's self because it went for a month straight working just fine. The other morning it did it again, I believe it may be some type of sensor issue. Hope you find out what your issue is.

i got it towed theyre on saturday right berofe they closed and like all service depts its closed on sunday .
