So i come home from a 12 hour shift in the ER at about 7:30pm and all i want to do is relax . someone calls me up and needs a ride home from work . so i head out to pick him up . i get on the on ramp and traffic is going fairly slow ( about 15 mph ) so im signaling and waiting my turn to get into the lane .

And heres when everything goes downhill .

so this guy waves me into the lane .. and then it happens ..
My steering wheel is as stiff as a rock .
i sit there saying to myself WTF TURN !
i look at my rpm gauge .. and its at 0 ..
then i let out a loud F**K ! ( windows open and the guy looks at me all funny )
thinking i stalled it , i turn the key and the engine turns .
and turns





























and turns


























and turns ..























F***!

i put it in neutral flash my hazards and sit there .
after about 5 minutes of honking and " Hey buddy get out the F***king way "
a CHP wrecker pulls behind me to help push it to the side .

" Whats the problem "
" i dunno it just stalled , can you tow me to my house ? i live right down the street "
" sorry sir i work for CHP and they dont tow to homes "
i give him the stoopid look
" But i can call a tow truck for you "
" thanks whats the number "
" we dont give out numbers "
i give him two stupid looks ..

" i can call them for you if you want but it will be around $ 100 "
" thanks man but i think ill just try my insurance company "
" ok have a nice day "

i call em up and the send me a tow truck .
cost about $ 35 and it was a flat bed too ! woot .

so he hooks it up and starts winching it in .
and i notice the front bumper is going to hit the bed and tell him to stop .
luckily for me he has two blocks of wood to lift the car up a few inches .

so we get it home and i park it on the side of the curb .
i go in to take a shower and get ready for bed .
i noticed that i left my cell phone in the car so i go out to get it ..

oh Sh!3t who did that?? some one threw eggs while it was being towed? man that sucks a$$. its wierd cuz since its almost halloween i was thinking that some people might be doing some egg drive by and i see this post.. dam haters

 

nah it was sitting there for about 30 minutes while i was in the shower .. then it got owned ..

Do people now a days just carry eggs in their pockets for an emergency egging of a car?

Speaking of Halloween/egging. About 8 years ago when I was 10 I remember one Halloween after my family and I were done trick or treating, we were heading back to my house and we got about 50 ft away from my house we see these teenage girls and boys egging our house.

My parents saw them and my mom went ballistic on the girl. Her face was priceless when she realized she had just got caught egging someones house right in front of them.

Just sucks people feel the need to want to cause problems for people for no apparent reason these days, but hey at least their considered "Cool" right.....

well i dont know ..
the tank is half full
but its just not getting gas ..
it turns fine and the battery is strong .
maybe i blew a fuel pump fuse ? dunno im too tired and its too dark to look right now

and another weird thing .
the damn engine fan turns on then i try to turn it..

 

what year is it? How many miles on it? That sucks!! I have an 03' and nothing major went wrong with my Z despite all the horror stories.

i checked the intake for leaks .. nuthin

Do you think that the wiring of the foglights have anything to do with it? Could be a random glitch. Try reseting the ECU. May work. Who knows.

the fog lights are wired straight to the fuse box in cab .
i was thinking the same thing ( resetting the Ecu )
ima do it before i tow it to nissan tomorrow .


The fan stays on when i turn the key .. so it has to be electrical .. i think

 

Good thing nothing was damaged. Just get it wash off soon.
