yeah, you guys complaining about that need to get over it. my wife calls the Z cute and it's one of her favorite cars of all time.

And yes, a girl gave me that comment, i was in shocked and sitting in my car for 5 minutes relaxing to dont get mad at her. It was the worse thing ever for me, it had no sense at all that a girl would reach enough research in car informations to state a thing like that.

 

I've heard that one before, also "Pretty Porsche" and "That's a pretty color, what do you call it?" I always reply, just to be a smart a$$, "orange". Then I tell them it's called Lemans Sunset and I get the look from them that says..."d1ckhe@d!"

I work to make monthly car payments. I didn't get daddy to buy me a Z, noticed how I'm making monthly payments? Rich and spoiled? I actually work. I'm not PLAYING racer, I haven't raced the Z and I really don't plan on doing so anytime soon. I work hard to keep my Z and I don't plan on doing anything stupid to get rid of it.

Seem's that being at a younger age you just get no respect for anything. At work I get people talking crap to me about how I'm PLAYING restaurant, just like how I am PLAYING racer.

just the fact that you drive a Z is enough to make some people not like you or assume certain things about you. If all they can muster up to say is that it looks like a porsche, and you take offense to that - i dunno, take this how you will and no offense or anything but I think you're completely stupid

if someone is just standing there looking at your car, they'll try to think of SOMETHING to say in order to not appear awkward by just standing there silent. They just MIGHT say something about what their impressions of how your car looks - and believe it or not, a porsche and audi TT are in fact the closest thing to resemble a 350Z. The general public are not car buffs and some of you are flat out babys

 

lol!! That same thing happened to me just last week when a buddy was with me at the gas station.. Crazy people

 

well im asian and drove by some kids on their bikes on the way to a friends house and i heard one of them say "hey he was on the fast and the furious"

but the worst compliment had to be when two of my friends took a picture next to the car and when they sent me the picture it said "G35"

 

These two guys I used to work with, I called them dumb and dumber, would try to rag on me about my Z. One drove an '04 Mustang GT and the other had a G35C.

The GT guy would say I drive a chick's car, I'd say "dude, you drive a Mustang" and LOL at him, then I'd destroy him every time we'd leave the parking lot after work.

The G35C guy said the Z is a knock off of the G35, I called him a fcking MORON and told him the Z has been around since 1970. His G35C was an '05 6MT with the revup motor. When I got my Z (a week after he'd gotten his G) he said he'd waste me because he had more hp. So I happily demonstrated to him how the Z is faster by destroying him from a stop, a low speed roll and a highway roll.

 

I got a comment where this dude next to me said, "it a beauty, to bad i dont fit in it". I was laughing hard when he said that.
