Also, 32,500 for a basic touring with the regular options (kick, cargo mats ect). Does this sound like $100 over invoice?

The touring is not basic. It is one of the most expensive models.

Sorry. What I meant was a Touring with no nav and no other options.

Sounds like they are just desperately trying to hold on to the sale and hoping you will settle for whatever shows up after they "apologize" for the mistake.

MEH

I say stick to it - don't give 'em **** untill they have a VIN or other proof if there could be any.

Default 07 Plenum

Have you guys seen this yet?

As mentioned on another thread, is this new plenum plastic? Looks like it. Plus it still looks like it still suffers the same slope as the previous versions.

Ok i understand the concern of the spacer being made of plastic, But what was the problem with the slope from past models? Hate to beat a dead horse if this has been discussed, but i wasn't aware of previous flaws to the slope. And please discuss why you don't like it being made of plastic??

Cheers

The sloped design doesn't allow proper air flow to the last 2 cylinders & has been tested by folks like the likes of Crawford. Hence why a bunch of owners install plenum spacers like the Motordyne 5/16 or upgrade to aftermarket plenums like the Crawford or APS.

Plastic will warp over time at hi temps especially during FI applications. Anyone remember the old Kinetix plenums & how a bunch of people had warping problems? I'm pretty sure Nissan designed this to withstand hi temps & it looks like they reinforced it with a bunch of cross members from looking at the design but I still wouldn't trust pushing my engine hard with something plastic. It maybe okay for the short-term but how would that withstand long-term & at extreme applications/conditions? Until someone actually does some real world testing on these things, I'll remain skeptical about it's performance & durability.

The Solar Orange 07 I saw was metallic, and really cool in the direct sun. Not for me , but I like the color.

Many of the Mfgs are using this high temp plastic for different applications. Believe it or not Toyota is currently even using plastic headers on some of their 4 cylinders. Its the way the whole industry is going (cutting cost).

Remember Ebony350 said it here people. When proper wheels, aero kits and other exterior mods are added SOLAR ORANGE will be the most stunning color in person. IMO

Lil bit, yeah.

Sup guys, got the call today so I'ma go pick up my car tomorrow. Hopefully pics will soon follow... it's not gonna be stock for long so I'll get it in it's natural form first, lol.

BTW, I was hoping for a MB Enthusiast Coupe... but they got a Base, so I'll be grabbing a base and putting a Nismo LSD in later. Anyways, just thought I'd share my exciting news with all you guys that post here in this thread. TTYL

Carpeted Mat Trunk

Internet quoted = $34,259 before tax & registration

Feedback will be greatly appreciated
I'm also looking to purchase a 2007 Touring. Is this a Roadster? Otherwise, it seems as if $34,259 is a lot for just a coupe. I'm looking to purchase a 2007 Roadster touring.

Roadster or coupe?

Designed as a multipurpose LSD for city driving, with increased power for track or autocross conditions. Constructed with four pinion gears for improved strength ( stock has two pinions ). Plate type 1.5-way LSD can be converted to 2-way LSD. 3 stage intial torque selective can be adjusted without disassembling the LSD.

About 1000 bucks. It's the main thing that sets the Enthusiast apart from the Base model... aside from the TCS and cruise control... and Homelink Transceiver... and the audio steering wheel controls... and the pedals...

*sigh* I just can't wait around any longer... so I'm caving in and getting the base. I'm sure it will be fine.

TYVM... I'll be getting one of those Z brackets, btw... that is, if they haven't drilled into the front already.
