Congrats man! It'll be nice with orange interior. Mine is supposedly arriving in the second week of February. Black on black Touring with Nav.

Also, I test drove one of the ones they had on the lot. The only other Z Ive driven was an 06 for a short test drive. So I cant really compare. All I have to say is man, power on the upper range is nuts!

Also the exhaust has changed too. I would say for the better. Sound deeper and more prominent liek nissan really wants you to hear it now. When the lot guy drove it out of the showroom, he revved it at the end and in the upper ranges, it has that whinny yet low sound like a Ferreri! (dont get on my case fo rsaying that, thats jsut what it sounds liek to me )

 

Its funny, seems like only Z guys like the burnt interior. All my coworkers think its wierd.

I never liked the burnt interior. I hate leather, as a matter of fact.

The only way to go is Carbon Cloth. **** luxury in a sports car.

 

I use to not like burnt orange, but now its grown on me and i like it.

 

Went cruising around Alhambra (626) after work, couldn't find any Nissan dealers there just Acura, Honda, Toyota, BMW ect.. so I called 411 on my cell, asked for Power Nissan in El Monte, that guy said he had a bunch in stock and which trim am I looking for. So I thought to myself, "Alot huh, this **** is just giving me his salemen crap bs, want me to go there just to have him tell me they can have them ordered and shipped in a few days, here is a 07 350z booklet to take home" so I asked him again, do you really have they 07's or just they 06 still? He respond with the same answer. So I drove the Power Nissan, parked my car, walked out, a man approached me QUIK status. Told him what I was looking for, walked me to the back sales lot, he asked one of his buddys about the 07, if they had any. She said they have a Orange one somewhere around the lot. They both took off to go get gas for one of the cars. There I was, walking back and forth full of joy. Couldn't find that daymn Solar Orange so I just thought to myself, these bastards tricked me into coming here to look at Titans, Maximas, and other crap. While walking back to my car, another sales rep approached me, told him what I was looking for but did not freakin fine, finallyyy got the answer I was looking for "We have one in our showroom floor". Went in there and saw a black 07 roadster, boy I thought I was gonna crap in my pants, counld not believe how sweeeet that thing looked. Anyways asked the sales men a few questions, just to test his knowledge within the z. Old man didn't know jack about it, funny how everything I told him thats new on the 07s, he goes "ooooh yes the new ones have dual intakes" "oooh yes they rev to 7 1/2 now" and blah blah you get my drift, ok then he walked me back to the other lot I was in but in the service center, there it was, the Solor Orange, wow that thing is ORANGE, like orange orange. It was a auto entusiast. The hood on these will actually grow on you, they are not bad at all, I like it. Anyways, anyone who live around 626, Power Nissan has a few. Sorry didn't test drive nor took pictures, only if I knew for sure they had them I would of brought my camera.

 

I'm proud to report I took delivery of my brand spanking new 2007 black 350z baby!!!!! So smooth and the power is there waiting to be unleashed, I havent took it past 5k and already can tell its a beast!!!! cant wait to upload some pics for all you guys.

Test driving the only one i could find today. YEA 07-Base
It's not what i want, and i would never buy from the dealer it's at, but hopefully the test drive will hold me over for a few more months untill i Buy one. Or it will maje me hot and bothered and i will get one sooner, any way i am waiting till the morning rush dies down.

Buddy of mine asked me a question yesterday and i didn't know the answer, maybe some one hear does.

He asked if the 07 z has two throttle bodies since it has two air intakes?

Felt kind odf stupid b/c i never thought about it

Yes dual TB and Dual intakes

 

Does any one know if the suspention set up is the same at the 06 for the 07. I might have a great deal on a set of nismo sway bars, and don't wnat to get them and then find out they wont work. And while i am thinking about it what else from 06 will work on the 07.

Springs?
Sway bars?
Exhaust?
Interrior stuff?

Just want to know what little stuff i can start buying now
