This also could have been mentioned at the time. But did anyone suggest the picture might have been Photoshopped?
Here I am, redlined and pegging the needle at 160 mph.

Yes, N74DV did post this many months ago... and many of us, including me, called BS on the pic. Hope he didn't take it too personal (I did get my Top Secret 350Z DVD, so he probably wasn't too offended )
Though, he is crazy enough to drive his Z that fast... so you gotta wonder.
If the photo is not 'shopped, it is an incredible shot considering the speed car and clarity of the image.

Uhm I doubt this was a real pic. I remember the initial post long time ago. But look at the lanes they look still. Unless he was using super shutter speed.

Strobe effect- that explains the fan picture...the cameras shutter was very close to multiple of the fan speed.
In film photography, Shutter speeds and film quality make this picture hard to manage without blur. As goes digital, any camera less than 1500 bux would be hard pressed to get the outside at all.
All in all a nice photo. fun to imagine a full bore sprint, not where I live tho.
Not impossible to believe. Just broken in 1393 miles. YIKES! what if a tree ran across the road?

Keep in mind that the picture that harryb92 is critiquing is my own alteration of N74DV's original, in which I've moved the needles.
If I were to argue that it has been 'Shopped, it would be to say only that the small aperture necessary to get that depth of field and the quick shutter speed needed to produce such a sharp image (and stop the lines dividing the highway) would seem to conspire against also having such good exposure. Nor can driving 152 mph with one hand on the wheel and looking through a camera viewfinder have made the excellent composition of the picture any easier.
Here's the original thread. If such an extraordinary picture is legitimate, it's ironic that it is being met with such skepticism, unless that is the deserved consequence of having driven so recklessly to create it.

One last time, with no hands on the wheel, and we'll let this horse rest in peace. (I also blurred the center divide to make the car go even faster.)
