Haha! LOL. The mods have already begun. I've had it for less than a month.

Injen Phantom FMIC
Helix Catted Downpipe
Perrin Dual Tip Catback
Injen CAI
Walbro 255
Perrin F/R Sways
Perrin F/R Endlinks
Tanabe GF210 Springs
Group N Top Hats
F/R Strut Bars
Kartboy Hangers
Static X GK
Perrin Rad. Hoses

Going in to storage until April. I'll be doing a 20G, Accessport V.2, gauges, turbo timer, boost controller and kartboy bushings all around and then taking it to Topspeed for a tune when it comes out of storage.

Good times ahead!

the suby is a good car, but that, the evo and neon are not even in the same league with the Z imo

looks wise, Z wins hands down against all those cars you mention.

Don't much like the body roll and turbo lag of the STI. Was one of my options at first and the decision was unanymous. It's odd to see someone actually leave a Z for one.

Be careful with your new toy. You might need to raise the seat to see over the hood scoop. And no a jet liner isn't trying to land on the freeway behind you, that's your wing.

Congrats you might want to consider whiteline steering bushings makes a big difference. All you need is in injectors and the turbo and your pretty much there. Oh as for dialing in the handling try doing some research on anti lift kits. The Evo while handling is great, it's a handful if your not paying 100 percent attention. Race car handling on streets don't mix well especially on rough roads. Once again good luck!

I thought being Rally cars they're supposed to be good on rough/muddy/wet/gravel surfaces?

Sorry I was'nt specific the reason the Sti is prone to understeer is because of the street. Typically it's more forgiving on rough roads where cars that are prone to oversteer will yank all over the place. When I say rough I mean potholes, indents, ridges etc not gravel, rain, snow. Alot of inexperienced Evo owners have got into plenty of trouble on the street. If you have driven a car that is similar to a go cart "steering wise" you will notice the steering tends to wander all over the place on roads with alot of irregularities. The Sti steering can be made equal to or better than a Evo with some minor mods not to say you can't make any car better with some well chosen mods.

Almost forgot any car with a stiff suspension, will also find on rough surfaces with alot of bumps etc to lose contact and wander also. Have you ever seen a car with such a suspension take a driveway on an angle and one wheel lifts off the ground? This is a good example of what I am refering to. When you throw on more agressive sway bars / struts/ coilovers it deters adequate suspension travel, great for turns but not for rough pavement. On a track it's butta, for street duty you need a little compromise.

Thanks to everyone for answering my questions and I will miss this Great forum!!

ahhh so that is what you did! dude i dont blame you for getting an STi in spokane. that place is nuts. it is no place for a 350z. i learned that a few times now with my yeller ZR. too bad i could not buy your tires. ill look you up in a month or so. if they are not gone, ill see what i can do. i am considering an STi later on down the road because of future kids and the state of washington being crazy. i want to be able to head up to the mountains from time to time

Hahha you guys are funny!!

Uh the Sti has NO turbo lag...now when I had my regular WRX it had lag, the Sti is very responsive, mine came w/ coil overs, front and rear tower bars and crazy alignment, it is ready to race This has to be the best gearbox I have ever shifted, just a little click and your in gear, super short gears too'

This is WAY MORE PRACTICAL of a car for me
