Z History
Okay, I will start it off,
Q: The first Z to be introduced was which model and which year?
A: 240Z, 1970
Next question, How much HP and TQ did the 240Z have from 70-73?

Technically, they are model year 1970. The first 2 240Z's (1 Manual & 1 AT) were sent to "Road and Track Magazine" for road testing in America. The testing began on October 2nd 1969. The VIN's on these cars were #4 and #5. Only 537 cars in total were produced before the end of 1969.
The vast majority were sold as 1970 model cars with a handful of individuals reporting that their cars are titled as 1969 models. Probably having do do with state statues requiring them to be titled in year produced at that time.
