That sucks...I'm trying to figure out what color really brings out the lines in the Z...Black looks great on any car, but it might not stand out enough on the Z...god I can't wait to see these babies in person!!!

I know the feeling! I myself am having a hard time deciding whether I should stick with the Super Black or switch to the "safe" Chrome Silver. We have seen so many pictures of the Chrome Silver, but hardly any of the Super Black. There is also that metallic door handle that totally ruins the harmony of the other colours (IMHO), but let's not get into that ... I am afraid Nissan is hiding the black Z under cover b/c she is ugly, sorta like an ugly gf who is great under the sheets but you don't want to be seen with in public.

If you want the lines to stand out, I suggest getting a lighter colour. Darker colours tend to hide/smooth out the lines to a certain extent.

All of the colors are beautiful to someone but Black is the definitive color, and add to that the burnt orange leather you will have an unbeatable combo!!

It IS a Brickyard, my digital camera just can't seem to capture the color very well. Notice it also has a rear spoiler and splash guards too. The guy that made it for me fashioned both out of small pieces of plastic and painted them for me using Nissan's AX8 code (Brickyard). He did it by looking at the first pics Scaf took of the Blue Track. Now that you mention it, I guess those are the six spoke 18" wheels. It is a Tamiya 1:24 model I bought off of e-bay for $25.

I'm totally with you, black IS the colour (color?). In fact, I like black so much, I'm going to spray paint those silly metallic door handles black!

BTW, does anyone know whether there will be aftermarket coloured door handles that match the car's true colour?

Yep I'm hoping that maybe Nissan and/or NISMO will offer replacement door handles. Right now I think I kinda like the color, but I may change my mind when I see the car in person.

Don't change your mind guys!!! The black is gonna be Killer! I got silverstone because of my wife. (The Sheriff is always in town!) or I was gettin black. Stick to it!

Well I had originally placed an order for a Chrome Silver, but changed my mind later on and got black instead. There are way too many silver cars on the road these days. Gone are the days when silver was associated with high-end sports and luxuary cars, like the 911s or the MBs. I just wish I could see the back end of the black car ...

I think the silverstone is very chic, and very different form the plethora of light silver cars on the roads these days. Stick with it, I'm sure you'll like it!

By the way, the interior options only exist if you get leather. Carbon fiber is the ONLY interior color if you get the cloth seats.

stick with black .. that is gonna be truly awesome .. black and white are always classics .. and with the xenon's on a sunset a waxed up black Z will truly be ominous.
