Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!!! Headlight Washers!?! That is freakin awesome! How come Europe gets the "hookup"?

 

The red one is for fog, you turn it on when in foggy conditions. Rear facing fog light. Many of the later model Euro spec cars have this.

A couple GM cars have this in the U.S. In non foggy conditions, they look like very bright brake lights in the bumper. Gives the impression the driver in front of you is riding the brakes.

 

most manufacturers dont give us the rear fog lights becuase we would use them at inappropriate times, just like the front ones.

 

Ain't that the friggin' truth!!! I get so tired of these CLOWNS driving Jags and Benzez imparticular who drive at night with those BRIGHT A** rear fogs on for NO reason.........

i may be waaay off here, but in the best motoring video, they have a lemans Z with the side cameras in those spots... or maybe they are in a different spot on the front bumper... either way, it lets you peek around corners and such...

Uhh, I fail to see how that looks like a headlamp washer. You think they'd have some thing down there that just sprays water on the headlights? Who would want that? So all the dirt gets streamed up onto the hood, and makes a nice dirty streak on your hood when the water dries? No thanks. I doubt that's a headlamp washer.

 

Also, if that's the UK version of the car, why is the driver's seat on the left side? Must be the Euro, non-UK version. UK is one of the only (if not THE only) countries with right hand drive, and driving on the opposite side of the road in europe.

 

They're headlamp washers that "pop out" of the bumper when you want to use them, and the headlamp washers activate when you use the windshield washers.

Also, the type of weather you'd need these for would mean the hood is wet and /or dirty anyway.

 

they are headlight washers for sure, just like on the TT. the TT folks call them "aliens" since they look like the alien that pops out of the guys stomach in the movie. check out this mpeg:

LEDs in the side Z logo would be a cool sidemarker. The ones shown above look like an afterthought (ie. cheesy IMO).

 

Wish ours had the side markers, and washers.... could live without rear fog light tho.
