Another success story of changing the tranny/diff oil
Well, I finaly got around to it, it's a little tedious but easy. I just had a new 009 tranny put in 1000 miles ago and it was notchy, so I decided to try changing the oil, also had some clutch chatter at low RPM. So I changed the diff and tranny oil out for motul 100% ester based synthetic, the motul gear 300 75w90 from the mynismo website (cheapest place I found it too at 10 bucks a quart (well leter)).
Let me tell you, it made shifting quite a bit smoother and nice, even when the tranny was cold. I feel like I can actually drive the car like a sports car and not worry about it feeling notchy. I was almost jumping up and down in my drivers seat. The clutch chatter also disapeared. Luckily though I didnt have very dirty looking oil in either the diff or tranny, and the diff plug didnt have very many metal shavings on it either. Oh, and the diff had 20k miles on it as well.
So again, for all of you who have been afraid to do this and or procrastinating... DO IT!

On my list of things to do when I return in Mar!
So is mynismo really the cheapest even with shipping? Link? Shows $13 a quart on their site.
