Can anyone tell me if they have the same problem as me with your 350Z. when I step on the gas pedal hard the engine makes a squeaking noise. When I took it to the dealer the mechanic told me it was a normal sound from the throttle body. I don't know if they did not want to fix it or it true that it's normal. I thought about bringing it to another dealer and see what they say. Any advice with the problem would be great!

 

do you have an aftermarket intake on it? I put a CAI on my G35 and it does that.

 

No thats not normal. Bring your Z to another mechanic to have them look at it. If that mechanic was telling you that was normal.... I wouldn't trust him anymore.

 

My Z makes that sqeaky noise too when I take off with a cold engine. It goes away after 1.5k rpm. It sounds just like a sqeaky engine belt, but it's not.

 

I didi put a JWT popcharger It made the noise before that but after I put it on the noise is now louder. The noise sounds like a whistle Only when steping on the gas pedal hard When I shift to next gear.

 

The whistling sound is normal from the JWT. It happens around 3000 rpm.
