I went for about 6 months without putting on my new plates. Didn't want to because I had to fabricate a front license plate holder instead of buying the Z bracket.

If you're referring to me...I'm NOT mad....I just don't think you should do something that will OBVIOUSLY get you ticketed by the po-po.

Things like this and say...D.U.I. are COMPLETELY avoidable.

I'd be happier if you told us you got a speeding ticket (like say...65mph in a 50 mph zone)...cuz that shyt can bite ANYONE in the ***, especially if you got a cop trying to get his ticket quota for the day.

lol, i did tell you guys about my speeding ticket, but that was another 'obvious' one...122+ in a 70mph zone. oops?

but i dont think driving with dealer plates is an obvious ticket so im gonna be stupid and just keep them on.

I drove around in my new tahoe for more then a year with those DUB black and white plates and never got stopped. I sold it and kept the plates. I had the dealer plates on my G35 for like 2 months, bought my rims and changed the plates the the metal STATUS plates. I bought the car like 5-6 months ago.

its a ten dollar fix it ticket..its about whether your a risk taker or not..to have just the dealer plates on, you need to drive like a grandma and not attract attention from the police..if you dont do anything stupid and go 5 mph under the speed limit the cops wont bother unless your a very suspicious looking person and you have bad luck
