When did you switch to synthetic?
So, I'm about to do an oil change on my car and I'm thinking about switching to synthetic. The only thing that is holding me back is the mileage, it only has 13k on it. I know that it's not good to switch too early because rings wouldn't seat properly and what not, but I think at 13k everything would be broken in already. What do you guys think? And when did everybody switch from regular to synthetic?

I just checked my oil today. My car is an 03'..well look at my screen name. It has just over 21K miles on it. I changed my oil 3K miles ago and it's right in the center of the dipsticks low/high marks, perfect. No probs. with Mobil 1.
