Do you really love your Z?
With all of the problems with the Z and the fact that 400+Hp means you will break parts and will be expensive, do you love your Z?
I'm coming from owning supra's and a Is300 both with the legendary 2J engine that loves boost. I'm starting to think that the Z is a poor decision.
I have not had to change a tranny yet but its a ticking time bomb and i'm nervous about the Nissans service. I had a nosiey throw out bearing on my IS300 took it to the dealer just for ****s and giggles to see what they would say. They checked the car and said yeap its going out, BUT we want to replace your tranny, clutch, and flywheel all free of charge so that you do not have any problems down the road! I'm sure nissan would never do that.

I haven't even gone through break in yet and my transmission is already making weird grinding noises, but I still love it. Everything breaks down at some point thats just the way it is.

I bought the Z to make cash I bought it cheap and I thought I might keep it and mod it but now i'm not sure as it will break. So I might just sell it and buy another supra.

I like my Z.
If you LOVE Toyota, only buy their vehicles.

I guess it all depends where you come from. If you come from driving boosted supras, you may be slightly disappointed, if you come from an srt4 like me or a sentra like dmroberson, you will be satisfied.

I love my Z. The Z33 is a strange story, but if you get one, get it brand new. Too many newbees bought this car because it was soooooo desireable, that even people who would never have bought a sports car actually bought this one. People who leave coke cans and used silver spoons on the floor and a sweater in the back seat of their Saturn SL2 want this car. If you buy this car from one of them, you're getting a bad deal.
Love my Z, especially because it was mine from the beginning.
