Default Last Nissan I will buy

Don't get me wrong. I love my 350Z and the quality of the car overall is ok. The service sucks so bad. I've had 100% better experiences at Toyota and Honda. I've never had a domestic car yet, so I can't compare it to them.

Everytime I hear another story about a fellow 350Z'er getting his rims scratched and his car scratched, it reminds me of the runaround I got at Nissan. Several Nissan dealers at that.

My 1999 Honda Civic has only been to the dealer once for a warranty issue; bad cap on the radiator reserve tank. I know comparing a Civic to a 350Z is apples and oranges, but still. I expect better!

Nissan service is inferior to some, and superior to others. Do want you think is best.

I've been treated great by Nissan.

When I was looking for a Toyota SUV, they deemed me unworthy to give attention to at 3 dealerships... soo.... even though I own a million dollar apartment... and make more than all of them... I'm unworthy to buy a Toyota. BMW and Ferrari treated me like gold... but oh noes, I can't test drive a Toyota! Well, FU Toyota.I aint buyin' your shiat then.

Adibese rant, over.

I would say FU to that Toyota dealer as well. I'm just speaking from my experiences. Maybe the local Toyota dealer near me treats me better than yours.

I have been treated really well at Metro Nissan in Redlands, CA except for the time I had the alignment checked. I happened to look under the car a few months later and a pair of vice grips was attached to the arm assembly. I was furious, but they totally took care of me.

I owned a BMW until 6 months ago and the service was top notch....valet parking, free car washes with every service, free rental etc. but I've been at my dealership and the service it's been great, the service advisor treat me great and the mechanics are great, thank you Marrone of Pembroke Pines Fla....very nice service and they always walk around the car with me before and after a service...no complains here.

It really depends on the dealership. My friend just had his tranny replaced on his 03'. He went in and told them that it was scratching going in to third, and they said no problem. They didn't make him reproduce the sound, argue ect. they just said yes sir.

Got a new AWD murano to drive while it was getting fixed to

I avoid the Nissan dealers in the "affluent suburban" areas, as they usually have sales and service people with uppity, f*cked up attitudes.

In fact, I drove an 1 hour + to a Nissan dealer in a borderline rural area to buy my Z and was treated extremely well by everyone there! They were down to earth and not pushy at all.

Maybe it helps that I'm a sales rep (in the pharmaceutical industry), so I know the qualities that make up a good or bad salesperson.

+1 on the dealership. If you go to a big time dealership it seems like the service is better becaus ethey have the capacity to serve you better. I've had a pretty good experience with East Charlotte Nissan so far. If you want A+ service or a car that you don't have to service period get a yota or lexus.

I get along just fine with the "uppity" Nissan dealer Service dept in affluant Roseville Ca.

I started with the Service Manager & asked who was his best rep. Good service though they did scape one rim abit.

That makes it really tough to get warranty work and TSB's done.

That's hilarious, hope you kept quiet and added it to your tool kit.

Unfortunately you'll get the odd dealer that really lives up to the car dealer reputation (sorry no offence to anyone here), but there a few decent ones. Just like any industry, each has a few bad apples.
