I spent 28.5 k on a 04 CTS-V stock with 25k miles.I was considerinf spending the same for a 05 Z !
And it does not need to be pushed a 4k + RPMs to have some power...
It is certainly better equiped than most Zs,which does not spoil it either...
Let's just say I found my car:a 4 door vette..Sweet.

Wow, the CTS-V has a crappy resale value... Loses almost 1/2 its value in just 2 years...

It's a nice car BTW. But it won't be in 5 years though. I had a Biaritz as it was Cadillac's sports coupe. It was a POS but I guess an LSX engine makes it somewhat better.
