feel bad he spent so much. you can't build a car like that to sell it a year later... hopefully his sponsorships covered alot of the costs.
I doubt it. I know a top 10 drifter who gets free drifting tires and that's about it. Considering this is just one of those cars people drive to HIN dude fest and flamboyantly to work he probably just get's the prices wholesale.

Free tires is actually really good when your a drifter... But yeah I really don't think his sponsers would really cover much.
seriously, what other products would they give him. gas?
Considering he competes in a pro sporting event I would think he gets a little more than someone sponsored to go to these B rated events filled with 98 percent men and the 2 percent silicone models.
If the starting bid is $40,000, and the buy it now price is $40,000, then this not an auction.
LOL....This is true.
Poor schmuck is spending $40 EVERY time he relists the auction on eBay, he would've been smarter to set a lower starting bid and then have a hidden reserve price...at least, it would encourage more bids!
Another problem is he has all these sponsorships and so much money invested. Why can't he just hire a photography student to take a pic. To me it is ugly and screams mass consumption MTV/HIN/Pop music/Ryan Seacrest but I'm sure nice pictures can help it sell.
