Reintroducing Myself
#42
nice job robert. ive heard that the factory y-pipe is the most restrictive part of the exhaust system. and ive also heard that you dont really need cat-back unless your going FI or you want an extra couple ponies. id rather keep it quiet and still pretty much get the same hp gains as everyone else.
NA for lyfe nagggga. id LOVE to get the top secret individual throttle bodies. but they are a very very STOOPID price. i could get 2 turbonetics ST kits for the price of those throttle bodies.
my first mods are gonna be 3.9FD and a better LSD. im quite happy with 300hp right now, and truely... it is a lot better than having a 90hp TDI jetta or something :X

Robert K,
First thanks for the great pics.
Second, your re-intro post made me ROFL with the resulting advice to do searches.
Thirdly, you didn't really go out and buy wheels, did you? You just threw chum to the sharks and raw meat to all the professional car fashion designers that crowd this forum.

You're Welcome. glad to make you laugh but this has become more of a build page than the orginal intent of reintroing myself. Yes I purchased wheels. Main reason is I intent to TT my Z and wanted a wider wheel/tire combo and couldn't past on the deal Rickdogg give me. As far as the shark comment... you have me lost. :?:

And so I don't get flamed, most of us value other's perspectives and constructive criticism which is different than dissing someone's ride. Because Robert K has been around the forum for so long and your car shows thought and pride, I saw many posts of the 'dissing' kind. Maybe not, I've been wrong before.

Don't know if you thought I was flaming you or speaking of the ones flaming me? However, I wasn't and thanks for the kind words afterwards. There will always be haters cause you didn't do the same mod as them. But they are usally the first to get upset when they see the same car parked next to them at a meet. I'm enjoying building my car they way I choose. I have a wife, two large dogs, two car payments, and a morgage. I can't dump endless amounts of money & credit into my car like others. I also enjoy other things like travel. And while others drop $5-10K into their cars, my wife & I will be drinking Italian Grappa in Modena at the Ferrari Museum.
So to those that hate, continue to hate cause I don't have this or that. [/rant]
