Bob -- nice links, but Wikipedia isn't the be-all end-all for information. It is usually fairly accurate, but finding "original" source material would have been more impressive.
I'm not trying to bash your thread, I appreciate the work you've done, I just don't think linking to different wiki pages is any different than posting a link to a google search result page (note that I use both all the time, by the way).

Well its for the new owner that has 0 knowledge of any above topic. Granted Wiki isn't the "best" source but its gives people the general idea of the topic. Also answers a lot of the same questions. I personally feel it should be a sticky.

I hear ya -- searching so that you can be informed enough to ask an intelligent question would seem to be instinctively the correct thing to do, but I fear instinct (i.e., collective racial (not waisis) knowledge) is rapidly being weened out of the species.
