yep. you'll be pulling bits of your piston out of your exhaust with the bmw's. It might run for a while, but if you hear ticking or anything like that, stop. Shut down the motor, get a tow truck.

Ditto. 3rd to 4th is the easiest shift I have (followed by 5th to 6th).

I've only had the car a week or so, and I've already done this once, although it only redlined, no more.

Yes you can. He was trying to go from 6th to 4th and hit 2nd.

The whole point of this thread was MIS SHIFTING from 3rd to 2nd, as in an unintentional act.

I can't imagine how you misshift from 3rd to 4th and instead **** into 2nd hmm...
