Default My Nearly Death Experience

Hi, My name is Nismospeed4life, and this is my story... (lol)

I live in a Condo and the Association will not allow me to work on my car. So,I decided to take the car to the Dealer to have them get the oil change done.

At a Nissan Dealer:

I had an appointment for today at 2:00pm at a local Nissan Dealer. I was providing my own Mobil 1 Syntechtic oil and K&N Oil Filter. I call the Service Advisor around 12:30pm and mentioned to him that I was around the area and if I could stop by to get the oil change done. He said, "Im sorry but my tech's are out to lunch and they wont be back until 1:00pm." I said, no problem. I'll just come in at my scheduled appointment time. Which was, again, 2:00pm.

When I got to the dealer at 2:00pm, the service advisor that I had schedule my appoinment with, said to me, "I'm sorry, but i'm getting ready to go home for the day, I'm not even supposed to be working pass noon." I was like !!! but I said no problem, can someone else perhaps take care of your order for me? He said "no problem!" However, I was like, this sounds like the begining of a series of problems.

The now "new" service advisor said to me, "Your car should be ready in 3 hours." I was like . I said, no thanks. I'll willtake my car elsewhere. I was Fking at this point. So I decided to leave before I would loose my temper.

Then, on my way home I came across an Infinity Dealer. And I was like Mmmmmm. Since I have my own oil and filter, I'm going to see if they will be willing to change the oil for me.

At The Infinity Dealer:

As I'm driving into the Infinity Service Department, A very nice gentlmen greeted me by opening my door and asking if "I needed service today." It was then that I asked if they were able to perform an oil change on my Z. The gentlemen said, "I'm sorry, but I'm only the Valet. However, I'll be glad to escort you to one of our Service Advisors and they will be happy to help you with that. I was like

As I walked into the service department, I could not believe my eyes. The most beautiful services department that I have ever seen. Cherry wood floors and individual offices for the services advisors. I was there for about a minute when a beautiful young and hot lady said to me "Sir' Sorry for the wait, My name is Rose and Iwill be your service advisor for today. I was like

It took about 2 minute for her to write-up my ticket and the she said. "Sir, would you like to come with me,I will like to show you our waiting room. By then I wanted her to show me "something else", however, I said sure! To the waiting room.

As I'm walking behind her into the waiting room, I could not believe my eyes. The whole waiting room had an Oasis type Theme. Palm tree's water falls and all, Plasma TV's all over the place, fine leather couches and heated recliners, there was a lady giving massages, and their own Starbucks bartender making coffee for free, they also had your own personal laptop computer with free internet access for your convinience. Fellas' I thought that I had die and went straight to heaven! I honestly had to pinch myself, the experience was surreal.

20 minutes went by,when the Georgeous service advisor Ms. Rose came by and said. "Sir' your car is now ready." I was like WHAT!!! THAT QUICK??? and, she was like "yes sir, and we even wash and dress the tires for you as well. I could not believe the Outstanding Customer Service that Infinity was giving their customer at least at that particular Dealer. She was like "whenever you will like us to service your car again just stop by and see us. I said "Ms Rose, I'm in love." I'm sure she thought I was abit insane at that point.

Never the less, Infinity Customer Service Rules and Nissan's, well, what can I say? Nissan Service are a bunch of jerk off's

That's what the extra $5000 for an G35 will get you. Of course, if you never go to the dealership for service, then you've wasted all that extra money on something you're not getting any use from.

Thumbs up

Infiniti FTW

Reminds me when I went in to the Nissan dealer to inquire on a 30K mile service for my Maxima. 3 Service techs in the service entrance blabbing and not one of them recognized me as I was patiently standing there. ****ing ******. Finally, one said, can I help you.

I was like, how much is your 30K service for my Maxima. Without asking anything, he said, its $599.00. I asked what all was involved, he stated what was invlolved, I then said, I don't need the coolant flush, oil change, tires rotated, micro filter, because I just recently did that a few weeks earlier so how much would the price be less what I just had done.

He stated back, like I said earlier SIR, its $599.00 regardless of what you have had done.

Needless to say I walked out pissed. Nissan Service FTL!

Should have asked for some "extra" service out of the adviser!

Yeah, I've taken my Toyota to a Lexus dealership and the difference in service is night and day, but as mentioned, you pay for it.

Curious about what the Infiniti dealership charged for a 350Z oil change?

i dont know though, for that extra 5 g's you would spend for a G35 you could probly save that $ and get a BJ from Ms. Rose(ok, so a similar looking hooker) at every oil change interval.

Does a person whose posts have included "Irregardless", "its self", & many more errors that befall the uneducated, really have room to correct anyone?

Back to our regularly scheduled program: I've been to the oasis you speak of at a local Infiniti dealer, it is pretty sweet. Sounds like you had a real treat that day . At Nissan, waiting room is mediocre, & a crapshoot with service. It's been ok for me overall, seems to depend on who you get.
