Default Why gauges on the pillar?

Why do folks put thier gauges on the pilar when this look is so clean? Sorry guys that have this but I just don't get it... I see 'em like that all the time and I think it looks horrible.

I paid for these gauges!

A-pillar is convenient. It doesn't impede on the field of vision (not worst than the standard A-pillar) yet is close enough to check easily.

my point exactly. A pillar allows you to have MORE gauges.

More like "Why create a duplicate thread?"

Why not have a duplicate thread? New guys like me dont know youve done this one already. Not to mention Im in Iraq and I dont have access to a computer like you do for archiving, I get maybe once a week if that. Think about other people some times, if you dont want to redo the thread THEN DONT CLICK ON IT .But that is why I do what I do, so YOU can give us a hard time.
