After stock dyno, my peak torque/HP was around 6900 so I set it there. Probably needs to be changed after the bolt on's now, but I rarely rev that high any longer.
so today was the first time i got to drive my car after the test drive (where I was more scared of crashing the car or getting a ticket, so a lot of slow driving).
I set the shifter to 4800 where the manual says is maximum torque but WOW getting it even there was crazy fast! in second gear I was already pulling about 60. so i gotta set it lower probably.
4200rpm. I never really look at it, for when I drive above 4k I'm normally paying more attention to the road and rely on my ears to tell me when I should shift.
I guess you dont know what the shift light is meant for. I suppose you could have it set super low if you were trying to achieve optimal fuel ecconomy but 5000 would still be a retarded setting especially if you have an 07.
