6600 rpms...the light comes on 250rpms before the actual setting (if I remember correctly). I use to have mine set at 6400 until I raised the rev limiter to 7100.

it will flicker @ 500 rpms before the indicated setting and become bright red at the desired settting.
Mine is @ 6900 rpm

+1.. It's 500 rpms before the set rpm. I leave mine at 7000.
