STi to 350Z?
I currently own a 2005 STi with upgraded turbo and supporting mods making between 350whp and 375whp depending on which dyno, but I've always like the Z, actually I've been thinking of selling the STi and getting a Z and turbocharging it, but I was curious how well they respond to being turbo'd?
What kind of power can the stock internals handle?

I was parked next to a STi today and those big ricey wings are fugly. Get a Z and you'll appreciate a great sports car -- power, handling, looks. And when you add a TT, you'll be up in another league . . . with such exotics as Z06s, Vipers, etc.
Idk any TT Z w/ stock block that can keep up w a viper, or Z06 (new obviiously).
To tell you the truth. If you dont have 10k on top of the cost of the car, a Z will not be as fast as an STi. The suspension on the Z needs work to be on par w/ STi handlign advantage due to the AWD. However..its a 2 seater, better balanced in terms of weight and its got more low end torque. They're two different monsters. If you like the turbo, u wont like the Z.

They don't want to wait for the single turbo to spool up, I'm assuming. I personally would do a single setup or a SC.
Youre right, w/ the new track Z w/ better tires, they're equal. But the suspension could use work. The Z is not at its full potential. The difference a set of dampeners and sway bars makes is phenominal

meh i would hardly call a z06 and a viper an exotic, its just another domestic car

The 03-04 track was bs. It had the same engine 287hp , but w/ brembo brakes.
i always wanted to go Turbo and AWD.
every car I've own so far has been RWD.
i don't know the Z is just an attention grabbing car.
Im very glad i got a Z and love driving it.
Summer Time the car is out 24/7 ... i always drive it.

i forgot to mention
a buddy of mine here has a WRX built motor/bigger turbo APS/caged/
his WRX has the Spec C STI motor and tranny from japan.
im not familiar with his car at all
but that 396 AWD HP to the wheels feels pretty nice.

It is cheaper to get another car and mod it, but i think if you wait and spend the dough the Z will be worth it in the end you know. it just takes more time and money, but it hink the end product is much better.
