I have ordered a Rear Spoiler from EVO-R about a month ago and haven't recieved it. I have attempted to contact the company in New York many many times. They don't return calls or emails. I am wondering if any of you have ever ordered from EVO-R. I have seen them on many web pages. I hope I didn't get taken for a lost of $$$$$.

If you ordered by charge card/debit card, then you should be able to dispute the charge and get your money back or the product delivered. I've had to do this before and amazingly I had the charge taken off and the product arrived. Win-Win for me.

You did the right thing by posting here and letting everyone know your experience. Getting the word out on a company's practices (especially when they are bad) is important information for the general public. I hope things work out for you.

[edit] I notice that they have 24 hour Yahoo IM support. Did you try that avenue yet? The id is efini916.

I ordered from Jay last year with no problems I would vouch for him but as of late I am seeing many complaints on the group buy thread as well about promised dates and lack of communication. Its one thing not to process an order in a timely manner but there is no excuse for lack of communication!

Damn I though Evo-R and Jay had a good rep around here. After reading this thread and many others, I'm having second thoughts about doing business with them. It seems like this is maybe a case of the company being spread too thin. Jay, or somebody from Evo-R needs to address this quickly before their name is dragged through the mud.

I have also attempted to contact them through the threads and private message and nothing yet. I just want my money or the spoiler. Look I'm sure they have done great business in the past. I'm sure they will do good business in the future. Presently I am very disappointed in the communication at this point. A man's money is nothing to play around with. I already seen that they have taken a guys deposit of $400 a year ago and he hasn't gotten the part or money back. That is only one case. Like I said I just want someone to tell me the part is on the way and give me confirmation.

I was wanting to buy that original CF dash kit from them but they stopped making it. Jay you out there man? You need some damage control here or else people will starting think your product is cheap Taiwanese crap with bad service. That would be a real shame since it seems like Evo-R has built a good reputation and following here.

I do not blame you. That is pretty sad customer service. Sounds like they need to get some more help. It's nice to see these forums work for things like this. Useful information, especially when you hear the same thing over and over.

Wow sorry to hear about that. From my personal expirence, Jay has been keeping contact with me since I ordered a v1 lip (06).

It arrived damaged and had to refuse it, but after I talked to him he is going to be making me another one and ship it out asap. Good customer service so far.

Wow, a month is a long time to not contact the customer.....(although there are always 3 sides to any story)
Looks like I will be staying away from evo-r, its a shame 'cus they are only about 10 hrs from me...

It's nice to see that you gave me a full refund Jay, but I really wanted the spoiler that I ordered. What about following through with what your customers want. I appreciate you making me feel better about my money. I guess I have to take business to someone that will help me hook up my Z and want their companies name on it. It sounds like you keep in contact with a few people all the time and not the ones that want some business. Wish you would have just sent the spoiler.

I will inform you once they are in stock again. Do you just want the Type S style? Cuz I can get the original Nismo V1 style in all CF. I have many request on that and have ordered more.

Jay, Don't you have to paint the base of the Nismo V1. I'm not trying to spend money on paint. That is why I like the S Style.
