Last three cars/trucks I've owned were MT's. I enjoying not having to shift right now. The next car... Who knows. Buying an MT or AT is not a "mistake." It's a choice a person makes. When you get a little bit older and mature alot more, you will understand that people make choices.

You apparently have a low self esteem problem, from what I gather. You are not satisfied with who you are and feel others look at you the same way. This is evident because majority of your comments regarding why one should have an MT is based purely on what others see you as. You are afraid that others see you as weak or unskilled in certain areas and need to prove them wrong by showing that you know how to drive a stick shift.

Congratulations.

Not to drag this thread out any longer, but I had to bump it for this point!

LOL... i got owned... ok yes yes... i have low self esteem. i must admit.. i feel a whole lot more confidence in a stick shift. ... puh-lease...

mmm, actually that's kinda true... but again, i avoid dumb choices... and chosing an A/T would be a bad one

well my point is that if your pulling that much horsepower to be running 10's the manual transmission isn't going to be stock either so everyone is telling me that its okay to beef up a manual transmission but an automatic beefed up transmission isn't considered automatic anymore. Please someone let me know if there is another type of transmission other than manual or automatic i must be missing something here. Bye the way i own two manual cars and one tiptronic so i have skill too or maybe just a little according to some people on here. At the end of the day i really don't care if people drive auto or stick but auto drivers don't bash manual drivers all day so why do manual drivers. I have a feeling some of the manual drivers use to get his *** wooped in school and now has a need to be bullying people about their cars i think i finally got it. Like i said i drive manual i just think that some people that drive manual cars are brain washed for sure that is my .2 and.3 cents. but shout outs to all the cool people that drive 6-speeds.

oh and another question i saw that the two cars that switched to the th400 and th350 use to be 6-speeds now why would they do that if 6-speeds are the **** and nothing but the ****. So you are telling me that they abandoned their 6-speed trans for a beefed up auto they couldn't have possibly have done that. I just love how some people get so worked up on this site over nothing and i highly enjoy it for some weird reason i would just like to see if people could give me a straight out answer to some of my questions thanks Zer's.

The two fastest cars are Autos, but not Nissan autos. The fastese Z in the wordld went in the 6 second range at 215 mph, but was also 98% Not a nissan. Its all in the eye of the beholder.

I guess no one has an answer to my questions other than childish one's like i like to grab stick and jerk back and forth. Well actually i got a few people that understand where im coming from enjoy the car manual or automatic is it that serious please and manual drivers dont need to talk so much **** about auto's. Yes, i understand that manuals are more fun i agree im trying to be as non bias as possible here and the people that want to close the thread dont even know what to say because they have no argument on this case keep in mind i drive manuals.
