Default Question about Auto Dim Mirror with Homelink

I have this mirror but I also heard that some of them have a compass. Is that a different option?

If you buy the aftermarket auto-dimming mirror with homelink, you get the compass. You will have to replace the mirror completely- not worth it unless you had the basic mirror and got all the benefits of the new mirror, for the price.

I just replaced my mirror with the compass mirror.. It's a Nissan mirror part number 999LI-ZP000 If you already have the Auto-Dimming/Homelink mirror, it's plug & play.. It took 5 minutes to exchange.. If you have a standars mirror, the new one comes with all the wiring you need to install it. It should take about an hour to install.. All my other vehicles have compass mirrors and I really missed.. Well worth the investment as I sold my original mirror and the new one ended up costing me $45..
