Good riddance.....
to the car. I don't think it's worth it cause once you get it running for another 10-20k you'll get bored and sell it in 6 months. On the other hand you can part it out and put a new block in and just sell everything.

man that totally blows i've follwed your progress since the first stages before you came to norcal, and it makes me sad that you would have such fate with the car, but good luck with future projects.

Honestly, i would think about it longer down the road. If you part it out and sell it, how would you feel a year down the road or two or ten, are you gonna wonder if you made a good or bad decision? Are you gonna get upset that you didn't finish a project and made the most unique Z around or are you gonna say good riddance while driving your 911 turbo?

If i had your kinda funds go with the 911 turbo i love my z with a passion but if had the money i would get a 911 turbo is like a stock twin turbo z but nothin will break cause its built like that go for it man viper is kool but i would take a c7 or a 911 easy

Damn Alex... That much downtime would break any other man. I'm glad you stuck it out with her.. but I guess everyone has thier limit. Stay on the boards man.. even if you get a viper / etc. !

I don't know abut getting a different car. Yeah you can get a viper or a Porsche or whatever, but it would not be the same. I used to have an NSX, and a Porsche and everywhere I went it was expected that you where the fastest car around. I did an Auto X event here about a month back and I beat a couple of Ferarris in the Z and it was soooo much fun.
I just like the idea of building a car that is for you and you only, it has your signature on it. It is not about the money or the way people look at you because you drive an expensive car. It is about the enjoyment of driving.
Another thing is that if you go with a more expensive car and something happens it is still going to cost you a fortune to fix and or service. How many people can afford to drive their supercar as hard as you like to drive your Nissan?
Off topic, but don't you hate to see a Ferrari never touch 3000 rpm?

You have come this far, why quit now? finish it. Enjoy it. Sell it when you are bored with it, not when it frustrates you. It will all be worth it at the end when you have it exactly how you wanted it.
