Help , My Nissan dealership maybe Idiots
I'm not that good with cars as probably most of you are but my first car had something similar to this, except when I turn right.
Try checking the bearing on the side which you hear the noise coming from, it may need to be replaced like mine. (my .02)

Proper flushing will take care of the problem
Cross drilled brake lines to boot!
Durham, NC Nissan Dealer
A tech at my dealer told me the headlights can't be adjusted.
The service manager is still swearing the tire roar problem is the tires not the suspension. Even though I have spot on alignment, not craptenza tires, and a tire roar problem.
If your dealer is giving you info you know is not true, or even think is not true, don't even try to argue with 'em...
RUN LIKE HELL!!!
If you know enough to question their opinion, you probably know more about your car than they do.
I know not all dealers are like this, there are some good dealerships out there. Go to another dealer if you can. If you can't, go to my350z.com.

Yep! It sounds like your bearing is starting to go bad.
I have a 2003 and just had the bearing on my right front tire replaced at 36,900 miles. I had noticed this whomping or roaring noise last summer and it just kept getting louder and louder and louder. No matter what speed I was travelling, the noise was always there (unlike the feathering where it occured at low speeds when breaking) and when I would make a left turn, you could definitely hear it roar. WHOMP! WHOMP! WHOMP! WHOMP! WHOMP!!
At first, I thought the noise was a result of the feathering because I did notice that the right front tire showed wear on the inside tread. The left front wasn't bad so I had both front tires replaced, anyway, and the alignment redone, but it still didn't get rid of the noise.
It took me some time to figure it out, but then I suspected it was the bearing so I took it to my local 350Z club member's shop and he confirmed it.
Apparently, the seal had gone bad and the grease had seeped out thus causing the noise which I had been hearing.
He got a new replacement part, installed it, and now the noise is completely gone!!! WOO HOO!!!
It had been a long time since I heard nothing, but the sound of the a quiet ride.
I can actually hear a pin drop.
Have it checked ASAP.
If you know a local shop, take it there, otherwise to the dealer.
