Someone told me that there is a programmable shift light on all 350z cars? Is this true? Where is the light, and how is it adjusted?

 

It is a small red light which starts blinking when you approach a preset value of rpms and goes solid red when you get there or pass the preset value.

The light is in the bottom part of the tach.

The value is set with the small computer display button on the top right of your gauges. The last value shown on the computer is the rpms at which you want the shift light to come on/blink. Mine is set at 4500, personal preference.

 

it will also blink 500rpms BEFORE your set value, I have mine at 6400 so it blinks at 5900, and then comes solid at 6400.
