Default What happened to my Z?!..

Okay here is the history on my Z I bought a 03 Touring 350z about a year ago from a salvaged dealer in CT... they say the car came from California and it had some water damage... it was explained and they showed me that completely changed the wiring and replaced anything that was damaged on the car...
now here is what happened... I was crossing the street on Dec. 1st and was hit by a old lady and broke my right leg... i was in the hospital for a week and ever since i have been home...
a few times after that I had a friend start my car... he noticed that it was having a hard time cranking over... but it would start.. the other day when he tried again it wouldnt start at all... we tried jump starting it and it wouldnt start... nothing worked, the horn... interior lights... windows... alarm etc...
I thaught it might be the battery so I went a bought a new battery and changed it... however the car is still dead and won't start and nothing still works...

Did this ever happen to anyone? Any ideas to what is wrong or could of caused this?
HELP!!!

With a salvage vehicle you take your changes. Time to visit Nissan. Best of luck.

Good luck.
If it is anything electrical, it could be very difficult to track down and fix the problem.
As already stated........you better see the Nissan dealer.

sorry to hijack this thread but I also have a starting problem. I currently have a nitrous system and car computer system hooked up to the battery. I was at a resturaunt a few days ago proceeded to start my car and it didnt work. the car turned over about a half a turn then died and I then found my car with no power at all. not even dome light power so i had it towed home and found that the 120A fuse on the positive side of the relay had been broken. I called the dealership and now have that whole fuse assembly on order 50 dollars !!! for it. Anyways today I tried hooking up 2 40 amp fuses in parallel today to it and got my accessories to work While my nitrous and car computer feeds were Disconnected from the car completley. Everything was working fine, I first started off with just the just the key in the ignition, then i turned the radio on, then the a/c blower, then the headlights. I then tried to start the car assuming the fuses I hooked up would blow, well they didn't. I heard a slight click when i turned the key (sound coming from starter I think) then nothing. now I am stuck with something wrong somewhere else that I cant figure out. once again absolutley nothing in the car is working. What makes me upset is that since I have the electronics in my car they will say its my fault when I dont think it is since I tried the same thing again with no electronics hooked up.

PLEASE HELP

ok number one... never ever ever use the wrong type of fuses in your car just to get it up and running again... second... never ever ever replace a fuse unless you know what the problem is... this is how electrical fires start... buy a wire diagram and scope things out...

now to fix the problem... i am betting the starter motor or solenoid is fried... the click you are hearing is the starter relay... at least it should be... change out the starter then get back to me
