Maybe it seems like everyone survives the Z accidents casue the ones that were killed were a little to dead to post. Just a thought.
There are some accidents that are simply not survivable- no matter what car you're driving. The Z can bend the laws of physics- not BREAK them!

Look at the pictures of past shunts on this forum! These are accidents that would have resulted in death, loss of limb or other frightening results in the past or in lesser cars than the Z. This kind (and amount) of proof is irrefutable: Nissan did a superlative job on driver (and passenger) safety with the Z!

I completely agree with you that the Z is much safer than most. I trust my life in it every day driving in Boston. They don't call then Mass-holes for no reason. I am just stating a simple fact...only the surviors are the ones posting on this site.

Yup I've heard so many stories and almost all end positively.

Same with the S. I've seen people who have rolled them and come out with only minor injuries and that was top down.

Its nice that the manufacturers pay attention to more than just speed

Looking at sites like wrecked exotics, you barely see a Z with a lot of damage around the passenger area, most of it is still intact around the driver.

yea there pretty safe. the carbon fiber driveshaft crumbles, and the engine is actually designed 2 drop down and away from the z in certain collisions, and that seems safe enough 4 me lol

I have 2 friends with panelshops and they both say black and blue, if you're buying a Japanese car either buy Nissan or Subaru because of the structural integrity of the cars.
