I don't usually put replies but I gotta do for this one.
Stay away from damaged ones especially for car like Z.
I'm not sure what your cause is for looking at damaged ones, but you're gonna regret.
If your situation allows, go for a brand new z.
If not, look for UNDAMAGED, NO HISTORY Z.
I once got damaged 300zx, and I spent countless hours in garage and $$.

Just so you know....it's hella expensive to repair Z's. A friend spun his car on a slick road and the side rubbed against a pole. Nothing dramatic but the bill was like $7k. It's crazy. Just look for a nice, unharmed 03 model if price is the issue here. Your repairs are going to be WAY more than you expect.

On top of all the advice here- a wrecked Z may well be assigned a salvage title, particularly if an insurance company has totaled it. The trap there is that no matter how much is spent repairing the car, it will always be worth less on the open market. Not a good position to be in if you purchase a salvaged car, fix it up and want to sell somewhere down the line...

i didnt say to register it, part it out. Sell the pieces on forums and ebay.
You have a full interior and engine/drivetrain and a ton of undamaged body parts on there. The brembos alone are 1500 bucks! HID lights are up over 300! Rims/exhaust wont get much. Stock spoilers go for like 100 or more. You have window motors, regulators and switches. It all adds up to $$$$.
It would take some time/effort but if i had the money id buy it and part it out.

#2! If your gonna buy a dmg'ed car.. i think you should go for either a s14 or s15 conversion. Just cuz it's sexy and parts for it is dirt cheap compared to a Z

I bought my car with a salvage tittle on it. Although I did have to do some minor work to it after I bought it, it runs like a champ now! Buying damaged cars is always a gamble, so you might not be as lucky as I was as far as not having any problems. Either of the first two cars looks easily repairable, I think you should go for it (especially the 06).
