In Air Force basic training you live in a condo, and have to be in by 11. If you do not fall out at 9 in the morning, they stamp your meal card no dessert.

Transportation hasn't been a big problem for me since I work with in walking distance. I haven't driven my car since October, so there isn't any real temptation to drive since there is snow all around. My main concern is that I would be paying for a car I would not be able to drive for a year and a half.

Also if I do sell it, I know for a fact regardless of what car comes out that I will stay in the Z family. I grew up around Nissan's and Z's my whole life, there's no way I would turn my back on Nissan's, since they have never done so to me(not referencing dealerships, im talking about the durability, and the reliability of the cars).

Don't listen to the f**knuggets who tell you to drive it.

Stupid idea for the reasons that have already been mentioned.

And I'm pretty sure that if you're driving without a license and something happens, your insurance company won't be of any help. Unless you've got piles of cash lying around to pay the family of the kid you run over... don't do it.

I agree-sell it! As pointed out already, you must have done something pretty serious to have your license yanked for so long. Even when you do get your license back it could very well be that your insurance will be so high you can't afford it on your Z.
Sell it and put the money in the bank or CD (Certificate of Deposit). When you get your license back, see where you stand with insurance rates and go from there. You may need to drive a beater for a few years.

So-Cal whaaaaaaaaaaaatup.

It's all bull**** about driving around without getting caught. If you have to drive daily it's just a matter of time in Southern Cal till you get nailed.

Why? When you don't have a license you fear 2 things: going to jail and getting your car raped in impound. I had my license taken 4 x for 6 months each time. My evolution 8 earned a track record with the po po.

The first time I was caught without a license in my evo they took it for 1 day charged $245.xx.
The second time I was pulled over without a license in the same car they take it for 30 days $1,369.xx impound fees. First time I was nailed was

January 2006 for hesitating at a right hand turn. Yup, then I said there was a pedestrian, which there was, and he said...well...you were doing 60 in a 50 give me license, reg, and insurance.

November 2006 nailed again. My car was fully modified at this time and the bov attracted his attention and he thought I was peeling out. When it was in impound for 30 days I told myself I'm going to get rid of it for good because next time it was 60 - days $3,000.xx+, and after that take your car for good. I sold it with the impound numbers because it was part of who the she is. lol

I got my license back after I sold my evo on Dec 28th 2006.

I bought my 350z Dec 29th 2006.

Can't wait to boost it too
