You can just find a PPG distributor and have them mix you one. I don't think paint is available for purchase aside from the touch-up bottle. I'm 99% sure that any dealership bodyshop mixes their own paint just like your local bodyshop.

Seriously though my friends dad had a early model vet i think it was a 50 something. Anyway he painted the inside of his garage to match, and eventualy put down a floor coating to match as well. He had craftsman tool chests and it all matched. It kind of took your breath away the first time you saw the red vet sitting in a red room with the red tool cases. IMO it was cool as hell. But to each there own

Cheers

Kevin

& happy painting (whatever it's for)

Years ago my dad painted a car with a roller. Baby blue. It came out surprising well.

Dealerships, unless they have an attached body shop, would not carry such a thing. Biggest you would be able to likely get is the little bottle of touch-up paint like mentioned.

Why do you need a gallon? Are you planning to repaint your entire car?

He would need more than a gallon. Probably trying to paint a body kit.

The thing about base coat paints today is that they reduce 1 to 1 with the activators which means 1 gallon of paint will actually make 2 gal. mixed with hardeners and activators, and thats a lot of paint my friend.

Lmao...exactly what I was going to say. By the way (as far as DuPont paint goes) there is not a paint just called silverstone. They will have to mix it for you. I had to fix a dent in my rear bumper a few months ago and I think my body shop dude said it was the darker nissan silver (like on some altima's) just thinned down.
