need help. my poor z
i just messed up my 2006 Z! my cf hood poped open while i was driving and ripped my fenders and dented my roof. my question is should i go trough insurance and have everything damage replaced(does anyone know if the roof is replaceable) or pay 1400 and get body work done to the car? secound question, is there any aftermarket fenders that would look nice on a z with no bodykit? thanks guys really appreciate any help

First things first.
Buy a hood latch.
Sorry to hear about the F up
Got any pic's man. The roof might be fixed depending on how bad it is, as for fenders replace them unless you do a full wide body it would look like plus i am not impressed with the wide body kits. Use the insurance that's what it's good for. Did you take it some where or was it your fault?? if you had it serviced then you can blame them
Good luck man
Cheers

Amuse makes fenders but they have a M3 style vent which some don't like..there are some oem style fenders that are 10mm wider also. Then you can get some 19x10.5's up front and be king of the parking lot...throw some d's on that biotch.
I think you should give me your headlights and say that they flew off too...thanks in advance.

if you have full coverage then i would think they would cover it? Anytime i have anything go wrong with a vehicle thats at least 500 over deductable i turn it in and never had a problem with getting fixed.

Insurance will definatly cover this!! I know a kid that this happend too. Don't feel so bad, HE DID IT TWICE!!!! The first time it happend to him the roof was messed up pretty bad. It pushed the roof back at least 3 or 4 inches. His was a heavy (heavier than carbon fiber) fiberglass hood. Everyhting got fixed and he got a complete custom paint job after. Looked pretty sweet but then he forgot to lock the pins AGAIN...
